NBA Rookie Style

So the NBA set an age limit. I think it is wrong to do so but it was a necessary compromise and won't adversely affect the sport or anybody who wishes to play. What I think should have been done is instead of an age limit is the establishment of a program for players aged 18-23 or so in which they are required by the NBA to attend college or take some college classes while playing in the league. Then again that would be too altruistic for a major sports league.
