Medical Books

Recenntly I've wanted to start doing medical research. Actually any type of information on medicine, biology, etc. I wonder if I read enough books if I could take the MCATS and apply to medical school? Those books are so expensive thought, maybe I can find used books somewhere. Find out the cirriculum of a good program and read all the books they do. I don't know, weird thoughts.
